The Kiwanis Club of Doncaster-Templestowe (Australia) became a permanent organisation in April 1974 and as charted in May the same year.

Club History

The Kiwanis Club of Doncaster-Templestowe (Australia) became a permanent organisation in April 1974 and as charted in May the same year.

For its Charter, our club was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Melbourne and the Kiwanis Club of Batavia (New York, USA). The Charter was presented by Ralph Doddrell, the Governor of Australia District.

Throughout its history, some of our Club's projects have included:

  • Kevin Heinze Garden Centre
  • Special Olympics
  • Produce Market
  • Kiwanis Farm
  • work with Doncare
  • assistance in Red Cross and Salvation Army collections
  • work with ONEMDA
